Obituary

CHUBBUCK - Rose Norgaard, 82, of Chubbuck, passed away Friday morning, January 21, 2011, at a local healthcare center.
I was born on August 4, 1928, to Flossie Fern Young Steinbruck and Fredrick Steinbruck near the small town of Milford, Kansas, on one of my grandfather's farms, on the Republican River. I was the youngest of 7 children, and have one brother, Marvin Steinbruck, living in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
I traveled to many of the Western states with my father during World War II and later lived in Kansas a short time before coming to Pocatello in 1946. Carl and I were married October 2, 1948. We adopted 2 children, Theresa and Stephen.
Theresa preceded me in death as did my parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Stephen lives in Harrison, Idaho. We have 7 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Our family has had some wonderful fishing and camping trips. I love flowers, gardening, animals and sewing. Carl and I have had a wonderful marriage with many happy times traveling and just being together.
I had worked at Woolworths and Kraft Foods, and also had been an instructor for the Arthur Murray School of Dance. I am a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Pocatello and the Silver Sage Riding Club. I am looking forward to being in my savior's presence.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at 1 p.m. in the Faith Lutheran Church, 856 West Eldredge, Pocatello, with Reverend Philip J. Meyer officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening, January 24th, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 North 15th Ave., and at the church one hour prior to the services on Tuesday. Burial will follow services in the Mountain View Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Faith Lutheran Church, 856 West Eldredge, Pocatello, Idaho, 83201.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello. Online guest book and condolences available at www.cornelisonfh.com.
